Regarding Trump:

It cannot be ruled out that Trump "used" some of our solution strategies, which we sent him in 2018, to end the North Korea crisis—at least temporarily:

In any case, just one day later, he did exactly what we had suggested to him as a solution:

namely, the "psychological concept for dealing with rogue states."

For at least a brief period, a positive exchange of ideas seemed to have developed between Trump and Kim.

But then Trump demanded the destruction of Kim's nuclear weapons.

That was a step too far for Kim.

Trump is completely immature when it comes to democratic principles:

Since his first term as US president, he has been working—sometimes subtly, sometimes overtly—to destroy American democracy.

These efforts are fueled by the fact that American democracy, like all democracies, has serious structural flaws:

They are parliamentary democracies that frustrate more than they solve.
