It is hard to believe that between 1979 and now only a few people in the Western world have been interested in the gigantic squandering of state funds and taxpayer money amounting to 30 trillion USD on NATO armaments alone:

among other things

a US Senator (John Glenn),

Managers of very large newspapers and television stations,

only a few of the western universities,

none of the churches and social organizations.
